lil self promo

you wants your cute? i gots your cute :) ok so it is a little shameless self promotion and also some laziness. But it is cute! This is my latest print that i just uploaded to my etsy shop.

Today is a rather gloomy outside. I actually bought myself a bright red rain coat so that i wouldn't feel so bad about all the rain that is expected for the next few days. I don't mind so much if it rains now so long as it stops for next weekend since we are going to Bar Harbor and i NEED some of the sunshine you see in the photo to your left!

Naturally Cute: Wooden toys on etsy!

I've been admiring woman woodworker's shop for several months now. I have yet to make a purchase from her but there is no doubt i will very soon. I am in love with this wooden bunny to your left. It was actually my husband that helped me find her shop. We were in a museam gift shop several months ago and there was a ity bitty wooden bunny for 40$. We thought the bun was precious but were quite sticker shocked. The first thing that popped into my head was "I bet someone makes a cutter version on etsy for less money" and sure enough, it's true!

In her shop she also has really intricate wooden trains, trucks, an elephant (almost as cute as the bunny) and rattles. Thankfully she doesn't put any finish on them so they are intended for little people to play with without chance of any toxic exposure. I love them! Check out her shop here.

Well I just finished my lunch. It was left over lasagna, yum! Now I feel like desert. How about a...delicious cupcake?

Although i'm not sure i know what a 'plushy' is exactly i think these things are ridiculously cute. And she even has some zombie ones which i know my zombie obsessed male friends can appreciate ;) It looks like most or all are made form recycled materials which is a major plus in my book. A movie with LOTS of cute.

Ok so my husband and i are guilty of occasionally going to see kid's movies in the theater. This last weekend we went to see "Up" which was fricking SO cute. If you haven't seen it you should check it out or at the very least put it on your netflix que for when it comes out on DVD. I have to say we had some pretty cool movies when i was a kid; The Little Mermaid, Bambi, The Land Before Time...but these new animation movies are just intense. It makes me wonder what my future child's favorite movie will be....

An Introduction

Why hello there blog readers. Welcome to my brand spanking new blog. The theme? Cute, adorable or anything that just makes you go "aw!!". I'll be featuring stores and products in addition to anything that i think will make you feel like you got in your "aww!!" for the day. Expect at least one aw inducing blog entry per day.

And now a little about me: I'm a girl. Well i woman i guess. I'm 25 and i've always had a passion for things cute. I just recently opened up a brand new etsy shop where i am selling prints of art that i make for nurseries or kid's rooms. And yes they are cute! Go ahead and check them out!
